I received the Nokia Body Cardio scale for Christmas and I absolutely love it. It is by far the best scale I have every owned, or better yet, every seen. It not only tells you your weight but also gives you an idea of your over all health. While I haven’t been on a “diet” per se, I have been watching what I eat so I can’t wait to get on the scale on Monday morning to see if my numbers have changed for the better. If you are on a diet, then this scale is for you! It not only tells you your weight like a traditional scale does, but it gives you a full body composition analysis.
There are three models to chose from. I have the Nokia Body Cardio which monitors your weight, your fat and water percentages and even measures your muscle and bone mass. If that is not enough, it also records your heart rate which would be perfect for measuring after you exercise. The base of the unit is less than an inch thick and is made of aluminum. One of the great features is the glass is heated so no cold feet when you step on. This model is the most expensive but I think it is well worth it. The price is $179.95.
The Nokia Body+ is the middle of the road model. I think it would be a great alternative if you can’t afford the Nokia Body Cardio. The difference between the Nokia Body Cardio and the Nokia Body+ is the base is not aluminum and it does not have the heart rate feature. This model is 20% off until January 20, 2018 for $79.96. After the 20th, it will go up to $99.95.
The Nokia Body is the bottom of the line model. Now don’t get me wrong, it still does quite a bit so I hate saying “bottom of the line.” The Nokia Body does not give you your full body composition analysis or your heart rate. This model is also 20% off until January 20, 2018 for $47.96. After the 20th, it will go up to $59.95.
All the models have built in WiFi and will seek to the Health Mate App you can download. The app is compatible with iOS 8 and higher, IPhone 4S and more recent and Android 5.0 and more recent. They are even Bluetooth compatible. The Health Mate App has a built in nutrition tracker so you can log in your food intake which is great if you are have set a weight goal into the App.
I think the absolute best features of all three models are the Pregnancy and Baby Mode trackers. Get this, with the Baby Mode tracker, you can keep an accurate record of your child’s growth by stepping on the scale while holding your baby in your arms. The Pregnancy Tracker tracks your weight and gives tips and advice which has been approved by an obstetrician. These two features alone I think are amazing. I wish I would have had a scale like this when I was pregnant!
The entire family, up to 8 persons, can enjoy the Nokia Scale. Each person is recognized when stepping on the scale and all their data is synced to their Health Mate App profile.
Oh, and I almost forgot. All three models come in either black or white, works well on any surface, including carpet and, get this, gives you your the daily weather forecast. Now that is SMART.
I only review products that I have actually used and I can’t say enough how much I absolutely love my Nokia Body Cardio. I think it is a smart move to invest in one of the models.
Nokia Body Cardio $179.95
Nokia Body+ $79.96 (until January 20, 2018)
Nokia Body $47.97 (until January 20, 2018)
